i recently graduated with my bachelor of science in journalism with a minor in african-american studies at florida a&m university. currently, i'm working at apartment therapy as an assistant editor for the news and culture sections, but i'm still available for writing assignments including music, food justice, veganism, pop culture, and black culture. you can find my words in Scalawag Magazine, Healthline, Washington Post, them, Uproxx, Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, and more. i'm also a member of NABJ, NLGJA and ONA.
